About Radu Gheorghe
The story begins in the city of Bucharest, Romania, as a pretty shy child that was always in front of his mother's camera, always in her eyes. Around 2006, Radu picked up his mother's Nikon film camera out of curiosity and started taking pictures of anything and everything. Using that camera brought him great joy and allowed him to express his emotions and visual sensibilities.
A couple of months after his arrival to the United States in 2013, Radu picked up a digital camera and started his journey to become an artist. For his day-to-day work, Radu photographs with his digital camera, but he still shoots film.
Radu is a member of SHIM Art Network and is affiliated with Tether Tools and Tiffen.
